New Zealand Cruise Vacation Photos - Page 15 of 16
  Auckland, New Zealand (Part 1)
We knew our voyage was nearing an end when the ship docked in Auckland. But we had two days of sightseeing left!
We docked at Queens Wharf on Quay Street, next to the Ferry Building, built in 1912.
So hopping on a ferry was the best way to start exploring.
We cruised past Rangitoto Island, which erupted from the sea only 600 years ago.
The ferry's first stop was Waiheke Island, where we went ashore and explored by bus. It felt like we were in the Caribbean.
The ferry next took us to the quaint village of Devonport, on the north shore of Auckland Harbor.
Time to try yet another New Zealand beer (and maybe a little lunch)!
You don't see many graveyards like this anymore. It was a cool & quiet spot in the middle of the city.
