| So hopping on a ferry was the best way to start exploring. | We cruised past Rangitoto Island, which erupted from the sea only 600 years ago. | |

| The ferry's first stop was Waiheke Island, where we went ashore and explored by bus. It felt like we were in the Caribbean. | The ferry next took us to the quaint village of Devonport, on the north shore of Auckland Harbor. | |

| Time to try yet another New Zealand beer (and maybe a little lunch)! |
You don't see many graveyards like this anymore. It was a cool & quiet spot in the middle of the city.
