The next morning, we explored the Exhibition Center in Darling Harbour, built for the 2000 Summer Olympics.
Fortunately, we didn't encounter any swooping birds!
The Chinese Garden of Friendship was very charming, and we spent quite awhile there.
The Garden was certainly an oasis of tranquility in the middle of the city.
At last, a chance to rest weary feet!
It was a hot day, and we don't know how this "aluminum foil lady" could survive the heat.
