Steep Stairs; Paseo de los Delfines

Every day there are tour buses, vans and taxis bringing sightseers to look at Ocho Cascadas. It's fun staying at a resort that is a local landmark, and waving from the pool to people below, who are gazing up at us with binoculars. They're probably wondering which movie stars we are! Ocho Cascadas stairs OK, let's force ourselves to leave our beautiful resort, so we can see the charming village of Puerto Vallarta. These are the stairs heading down from Villa Six. They make a jog to the left at Villa Four, so you can't see all the way to the bottom. Fortunately, there are entrances at the top & bottom of the resort. Since our villa is roughly halfway up the stairs, we have taxis pick us up at the bottom entrance, and drop us off at the top entrance.
This is the view of the stairs heading up from Villa Six to the upper entrance. The Ocho Cascadas stairs are very steep, and each step is narrow & uneven. Since there is no elevator, the resort is not for everyone. Ocho Cascadas stairs
Hilltop view of Puerto Vallarta Ocho Cascadas is located on Paseo de los Delfines ("Dolphins Way"). From the end of the street there is a great view of Puerto Vallarta spreading out to the north.
