Ocho Cascadas 2006 Vacation Photos - Page 1 of 4

In May 2006 we returned to our favorite timeshare resort, Ocho Cascadas in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. We travelled with our friends Fred & Mary from Thousand Oaks. We had beautiful weather, with sunny days and temperatures in the mid-80s, although it was definitely more humid than on previous trips.
You can see many more photos from previous visits to Ocho Cascadas in the original Puerto Vallarta section of our website. This section will only contain photos that aren't already included in the other section. Click on any of these photos to see a larger version.

We started the vacation by attending the resort Welcome Party on Friday night. Fortunately, the party was held up in the Penthouse villa. This is the view from the Penthouse, looking down at the pools of the other villas below. You can see the pools of Villas 9, 8, 7, 6, 5 and 4.

After the party, the four of us (Mary, Fred, Chris & Ann) struggled down the stairs to our villa (#6). We made it back to our villa in time to enjoy one of Puerto Vallarta's famous sunsets.

It turned out to be the best sunset of the vacation. Notice the Marietas Islands on the horizon. They are 20 miles offshore, and are seldom visible. And the sunset just kept getting more & more spectacular. The colors of this photo were not altered on the computer!
