After the beautiful sunset, we got to watch three separate fireworks displays up and down the coast. One of the shows was being launched from the beach directly below us.
|
The next morning I was up early enough to see the first rays of the morning sun hitting the rocks on the beach below the resort. Of course, due to the mountains behind (east of) the resort, this wasn't exactly early in the morning!

On another morning I was shocked to see a whale directly below the resort. By the time I found the camera and snapped this photo, the whale had just submerged, and I never saw it again.

Here we are enjoying our private pool. This scene is repeated many times per day.

Of course, sometimes the pool would get more crowded...
|
...and other times it would be quite peaceful.
