Kern River RV Trip (13 images)
We took our RV to Headquarters Campground beside the Kern River, north of Kernville. Because most sites were reserved, we had to stay at one site for the first night, then moved to our preferred site for the next two nights. Despite the campground being mostly booked in advance, it was almost empty! It was very quiet, and we enjoyed just listening to the sound of the river and the birds.
