Guests at the Villas timeshare resort also have access to all the facilities at the fabulous Westin Scottsdale Kierland Resort & Spa next door. There is a free shuttle available, but it's close enough to walk.

We enjoyed a delcious dinner at the resort's Deseo restaurant, and ended it with this fanciful 'Chocolate Cigar' dessert.

For us, the best feature of the Westin Kierland Resort pool complex was the 900-feet long lazy river, with its twists & turns and islands. There is a nice mix of shady areas and sunny areas.

And it was especially nice that they allowed you to float with a refreshing adult beverage!

The resort also has a nice 110-feet waterslide.

The pool area has plenty of trees for us shade-lovers.

There's even a grassy area for those that don't want concrete or sand. And notice the misters at the grill & bar.
