The master bath in our villa was very luxurious, and everything in it was of the highest quality.

The living room was a very comfortable place to enjoy some champagne Mimosas on a foggy morning.

We had a nice patio deck outside our living room, with a couple of comfortable chairs and tables.
|
|
|
The resort overlooks the Batiquitos Lagoon, which is a nature preserve with a self-guided nature trail, and several hiking paths.
|
One day we had lunch with our friends Chuck & Dottie, who live in Carlsbad.
|
|
|
|
Of course, we didn't stay in the resort the whole time. We did manage to go into the village of Carlsbad a little.
|
Carlsbad is a pleasant town to explore on foot, with tree-shaded streets, brick sidewalks, and quaint shops.
