  Marriott Desert Springs Resort

There are so many ducks on the property that there are "Duck Crossing" signs posted.
And the ducks aren't shy about coming onto the patio for a treat!

The timeshare villas have large patios. We prefer a downstairs unit, so that the patio is shaded, and it's easy for the ducks to visit. We also enjoy watching (and occasionally talking to) the golfers. The resort golfcarts are equipped with a GPS navigation system, so you can see where you are on the course (too bad it won't help you find your golfball)! A great benefit for timesharers is free use of the Spa at the hotel. The exercise equipment is top-notch. When you're done exercising, they give you a robe and slippers. The locker room is carpeted, with mahogany lockers. There's a hot tub, a cold plunge, dry sauna, steam room, and vapor room. When you're ready to shower, they provide soap, shampoo, conditioner, razors, after shave, lotion, comb, brush, blow drier, etc.

The main Palmeras pool complex is quite large, and has fountains, pool toys, water volleyball nets, children's pool, lap pool, live music, a bar, and a food court. But if you prefer quiet, there are several other smaller pools around the timeshare grounds to choose from. Or you can use the adults-only pool at the hotel spa.
