Sydney Metro Monorail
Sydney Tower view

After getting settled on the cruiseship, we headed back out for more sightseeing. We enjoyed using the Metro Monorail to get around.

We went to the top of the Sydney Tower for an all-around view of the city, inluding our ship in the harbor.

Looking to the north we could see the Harbour Bridge leading to North Sydney...

... and to the east was the Royal Botanical Garden.

Directly below us was the Queen Victoria Building (QVB), with the Monorail passing by the right end. We headed to the QVB next.

The QVB was built in 1898, and in 1984 was turned into a beautiful four-level shopping mall.

Hopping back on the Monorail, we headed over to the Harbourside shopping/entertainment complex.
From Harbourside we could see our cruiseship lit by the setting sun.
