In May 2001 we did a timeshare exchange into the Marriott Ocean Pointe in Palm Beach, Florida. We were fortunate in that we were able to exchange the "studio lockout" portion of our timeshare for a full one-bedroom unit at this timeshare. That meant it could sleep four people, and we could have some visitors during our stay. The weather was absolutely perfect while we were there. The temperature was around 80 degrees, and the humidity was unusually low for Florida. And there were no mosquitoes! |

This aerial view shows the first two buildings of the Ocean Pointe resort, near the southern tip of Singer Island. There will eventually be five buildings in the resort, stretching all the way to the end of the island. The city of Palm Beach is just across the ocean inlet, on the next island to the south. | |

Our room was on the sixth floor, giving us a great view of the pool, beach and ocean. |

There were plenty of chairs and umbrellas down on the beach... | ... which we thought was a great way to spend the day! |
