On Saturday we began checking out the I Madonnari Street Painting Festival, which was held on the grounds of the Mission. It was interesting to watch the artists starting their work on Saturday, then return on Sunday to see the completed art.

One area was set aside for children who wished to give street painting a try for free.

This father & daughter have practiced in the children's area for the last few years, and next year they plan to buy a "real" section to paint. On Saturday morning they were laying out their grid guide...
