Walking eastward along Isla del Rio Cuale, you pass under two bridges. One is for southbound automobile traffic, and one is for northbound traffic. Each bridge can be reached via an elegant curving staircase.
|
At the top of the stairs you'll find a nice view of the Rio Cuale river.

You'll also find that the stairs have deposited you in the middle of Puerto Vallarta's El Centro, which is full of more shops and restaurants. But we won't take that route just now. We'll head back west along Isla Rio Cuale to reach El Malecon.
